Leak Repair in Jacksonville, FL

Jacksonville – St. Augustine – Ponte Vedra

Leaks Are Disruptive. You Deserve a Fix That’s Honest, Local, and Done Right.

Leaks don’t just damage pipes—they interrupt your day, create stress, and cost you time and money. Whether you’re hearing water behind a wall or noticing damage around a fixture, the problem rarely stays small when not addressed.

At Turner Plumbing, we’ve helped Jacksonville homeowners repair hidden and active leaks for more than 75 years. We respond quickly, identify the issue accurately, and provide lasting repairs without inflated pricing or pressure.

What Counts as a Leak?

  • Faucet or fixture leaks
  • Pipes leaking behind walls, ceilings, or cabinetry
  • Slab leaks under concrete foundations
  • Underground line failures
  • Drain or vent line leaks
  • Toilet, valve, and water heater issues
  • Old tub shoe connections

If you notice signs of moisture, low pressure, or an unusual water bill, it’s time to have your system checked.

Signs You Might Have a Hidden Leak

  • A sudden increase in your water bill
  • Sounds of water running with no taps on
  • Damp or discolored drywall
  • Warped wood, bubbling paint, or peeling trim
  • Mold or musty odors near floors and walls
  • Unusual drops in water pressure in part of your home

If you’ve noticed one or more of these symptoms, let us take a closer look.

What to Do If You Suspect a Leak

1. Turn Off Your Main Water Valve

If it’s safe to access, shut off your home’s main water supply to prevent further damage.

2. Call Turner Plumbing

We’ll assess the situation over the phone and, if necessary, dispatch a technician right away.

3. Don’t Investigate Yourself

Don’t try to open walls or hunt for the leak yourself. Our technicians have the training and tools to locate hidden leaks without unnecessary damage.

Leaks don’t get better on their own. And the sooner they’re found, the more options you have for repair.

Why Leaks Happen

  • Aging Pipes—Galvanized and copper pipes corrode over time, especially in older homes.
  • Water Pressure Imbalance—Excessive pressure strains pipes, seals, and valves.
  • Worn or Loose Fittings—Vibrations and inconsistent flow can loosen connections.
  • Poor Installation—Lack of proper support, insulation, or alignment can lead to leaks.

Time-and-Material Pricing: How We Keep It Honest

We don’t use flat-rate pricing, and here’s why:

  • You pay for the actual work done—not an estimate based on worst-case assumptions.
  • Transparent dispatch fee plus billing only for the time and parts used.
  • No surprise markups or sales tactics.

We believe you should know where every dollar goes. If a repair takes 45 minutes, you shouldn’t be charged for four hours.

How We Detect and Repair Leaks

Step 1: Phone Evaluation and Technician Dispatch

You’ll speak with someone local who understands Jacksonville’s neighborhoods and plumbing infrastructure. If your situation calls for emergency service, we’ll send a licensed technician—often the same day.

Step 2: Non-Invasive Leak Detection

Our technician will diagnose the leak’s source by checking your water meter and using tools like thermal imaging or acoustic detection when needed.

Step 3: Repair and System Check

Once we locate the problem, we’ll recommend the best course of action—whether tightening a fitting, replacing a valve, or repairing a corroded pipe. After repairs, we test the system to ensure no additional leaks remain.

Why Timely Repair Matters

In Jacksonville’s humid climate, moisture spreads fast. A leak left untreated can lead to:

  • Mold growth inside walls and insulation
  • Rotting wood framing and subfloor damage
  • Electrical risks if water reaches wiring
  • Insurance claim issues due to delayed reporting
  • Higher water bills and costly restoration

Even slow leaks—especially those behind walls or under floors—can quietly cause thousands of dollars in damage before becoming visible. Our job is to stop that from happening.

What Makes Turner Different

We’re a fourth-generation plumbing company with over seven decades of local experience. That expertise shapes everything we do.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Technicians who are not on commission
  • No-pressure service philosophy
  • High-quality materials, including American-made brass components
  • Real apprenticeship training to ensure long-term excellence
  • Staff retention—many team members have been here over 30 years

You’ll never be pressured into work you don’t need. If something can wait, we’ll tell you.

Act Quickly To Stop the Leak Before It Becomes a Bigger Problem

You don’t need to know what’s wrong. You just need someone who does—and who won’t treat your emergency like a sales opportunity.

Call Turner Plumbing or request leak repair service online. We’ll show up, explain the problem, and take care of it—plain and simple.

Tyler and his crew did a wonderful job. It was not an easy project but was able to control the noise and mess during demolition. Super pleasant and personable guy to deal with. Tile guy did a wonderful job, also. Nick was available for updates and worked diligently to find matching tiles for repairing holes after fixing plumbing leaks behind shower wall

Kaleb and his apprentice were accommodating and very friendly. Unfortunately, after installation, the faucet was defective and leaked everywhere. They have to come back today to reinstall another faucet. For me, I now have to pay for two installations and two removals. This exercise has become expensive, no fault of you or me.

Daniel and Dwayne replaced my water heater. They were terrific! Very professional and so kind. They warned me to be careful because the garage floor (where the water heater leaked) was wet and I might slip. They also told me how to replace the salt in my water softener! They were right on time too. Just super nice and helpful. Love those guys!!!!

Outstanding! Turner Plumbing was referred to me by Josh Gibson of Leak Seekers (also outstanding). JEA notified me of a high usage issue (3,800 gal/day), which was caused by a leaking toilet (not just the flapper valve). I shut off the water to the toilet and called Turner late afternoon Monday. Mack and David were on site Wednesday and replaced all of the failing parts. Works as good as new now. Mack was prompt, friendly, explained what was going on, and went right to work. I will definitely call Turner Plumbing for my future needs!
